2010 Hilmar Football

Now that the 2010 season is over, I have already begun to miss the Friday night excitement. I have made a pact with myself to write about small town football and all that is involved in the sport we all love. Hilmar is a very small town and has a population of just over 4000 people. Most of the people in this town support the football program in one form or another. I will talk about my observations, both good and bad, along the way. My hope is that this blog will biuld up some steam and be something enjoyable for all as Hilmar will celebrate a "Centinial Season" for the players that graduate in the class of 2012. As I understand it, Hilmar High has been around for a hundred years...That should make for a lot of excitement heading into the 2011-2012 season!

Please chaeck back often as I look forward to many stories and information about the players and the team as well as the anticipation of a great year. No shortage of talent in this town. It is alwasys amazing to see the level of talent that can be extracted from such a small population of people.
